Overview

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Crete, and formerly at the Foundation for Research & Technology, Hellas (FORTH).

I hold a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Crete and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Nottingham.

I have extensive experience in functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), extracellular electrophysiological recordings, time and frequency domain neural data analysis, and advanced statistical and machine learning methods for the study of cognition (e.g., attention and working memory).

My work has been published in high-impact journals (e.g., NeuroImage, PNAS), and I have secured funding as a principal investigator from competitive national grants.

I teach masters students in the Graduate Program in Brain and Mind Sciences and undergraduate students at the International Program in Medicine at the University of Crete.
